Seamless Integration

The integration of the SAP Change and Release Management via SAP S/4HANA certified Add-on REALTECH SmartChange Transport Management to SERVICENOW® enables a continuous change management process.

The add-on is quick to implement and easy to use – in SERVICENOW® as well as in SAP. Because you simply use the most important functions for controlling SAP transports from within SERVICENOW®.

Due to the clear user interface in SERVICENOW®, fewer application errors occur and you accelerate internal business processes.

Easy, standardized configuration

  • Install SNow certificate

  • Activate the HTTPS service

  • Create RFC connection ‘HTTP connection to External Server’

  • Apply TM integration installation transport

  • Define SNOW types of work item (e. g. Incident, Change request, Problem)

  • Define filters for F4 search based on SNow attributes

  • Define transport levels/ status to be checked (e. g. DEV, QAS, PRD)

  • Define approval steps to be checked against the SNow status

  • Define activities if status check fails
